At the heart of the cultural crisis is our own pride. Pride is the root of sin - the chief sin. We want to be our own God. You hear it in our cultural slogans: "you do you," "find your own truth." Three things we have to do to be a straight arrow in a crooked world:

Point One: I have to listen to God's clear commands.

Point Three: I have to learn from my consequences.

Pride gives birth to rebellion.

Pride creates a dismissive attitude.
