Everything You're Looking For
More Than You Could HOPE For
Ever feel like you're out of hope or hanging by a thread? That’s the world Micah knew. As a prophet of coming judgment, he delivered hard truth—yet tucked inside his message was a promise of incredible hope. From an overlooked town called Bethlehem would come the One who proves we are never forgotten. If you’ve ever felt insignificant or left behind, Micah’s words whisper the same truth echoed later by Peter: real hope is living, and it has a name. You’ll find it in Jesus.
Everything You're Looking For
More Than You Could HOPE For
Micah 5:2; 1 Peter 1:3
1. Hope is often where you least expect it.
Micah 5:2, “But you, O Bethlehem Ephrathah,
are only a small village among all the people of Judah.
Yet a ruler of Israel,
whose origins are in the distant past,
will come from you on my behalf.”
Bethlehem wasn’t chosen because of what it was; it was chosen because of Who would be there.
2. Hope isn’t an idea. It’s Alive!
1 Peter 1: 3, “Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ! According to his great mercy, he has caused us to be born again to a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead,”
Peter doesn’t describe wishful thinking.
3. Jesus is our Hope because Jesus is the fulfillment of God's promise.
If God kept His promise then, you can trust Him with your life now.
