1 Corinthians Context:  A church obsessed with “self.”

Key Truth: The best life ever begins with forgiveness and is lived according to God’s purposes. 

As a Christian:

 1. Your purpose in life is not about you, it’s about Christ. (vs. 19-21)

 2. Your purpose in life is based on your identity, not what you do. (vs. 22-23)

 What is my identity in Christ?  (Ephesians 5:8-9)

Light, not darkness. 

 3. Your purpose in life should be your driving force. (vs. 24-26) 

What is holding you back? (Hebrews 12:1-2)

• something you are doing – (Sin).
• something you are neglecting – (Spiritual Disciplines).

Final Thought:  The best life ever is one driven by the purposes of God.
