Living on Purpose
Begin with Patience
1 Cor. 13:4
Patience is one of the first casualties of our hurried, self-focused lives. We struggle to be patient with our families, coworkers, and even strangers because we are busy and convinced our time is too important to give away. Yet patience may be the hardest—and most essential—habit to cultivate. In this episode, we see how Jesus, even in the most urgent and demanding moments of His life, moved through the pressure of crowds and suffering people with grace, focus, and deep love. At the heart of His patience was a clear understanding of time and a willingness to share it. If we hope to truly love others, patience isn’t optional—it’s foundational.

Why is impatience dangerous to people of The Way?
Impatience is just pride in disguise. (See Proverbs 16:18, 6:16-17, James 4:6)
"The Lord isn't really being slow about his promise, as some people think. No, he is being patient for your sake. He does not want anyone to be destroyed, but wants everyone to repent." - 2 Peter 3:9
Final Thought:
What people need, isn't for us to move faster - they need us to love deeper, and love always begins with patience.
