This Is It!

John 19:30

Resurrection is the moment that everything has been building toward. Jesus is the rescuing sacrifice. He is the Passover Feast in the flesh (remember John 6:56). He is the altar of sacrifice; He is the full embodiment of the glory of God - the God that could never be contained in a house. He is the untamed God who can never be put in a box. He is the greater glory. He is the salvation of all, the glory of God - and He is the only Temple! And what should be our response? Fall to HIs feet in worship, and then...go tell!

This Is It!

John 19:30, 40-42, 20:1-18

In the story of Easter we find...

Jesus invites YOU in.

Luke 23:49, "But Jesus' friends, including the women who had followed him from Galilee, stood at a distance watching."

Luke 23:55, "As his body was taken away, the women of Galilee followed and saw the tomb where his body was placed."

John 19:41-42, "...the place of crucifixion was near a garden"..."the tomb was close at hand."

John 3:16, "For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life."

Jesus calls YOU out.

One word that changed everything, "Mary!"

Isaiah 43:1b, "...I have called you by name; you are mine."

Jeremiah 1:5, "I knew you before I formed you in your mother's womb. Before you were born I set you apart..."

Romans 10:13, "For 'Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.'"

Acts 4:12, "There is salvation in no one else! God has given no other name under heaven by which we must be saved."

Philippians 2:10-11, "...at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth, and every tongue declare that Jesus Christ is Lord..."

Jesus offers the rescue you need.

Mark 10:45, "For even the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many."

Romans 10:9-10, "If you openly declare that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is by believing in your heart that you are made right with God, and it is by openly declaring your faith that you are saved."
