It is important that we step into the vision that God gives us, but that means not only seeing where we are headed but knowing how to get there which involves being strategic and measured.

The Greater King

Acts 1:3-8

Jesus taught us to pray, "Thy kingdom come, thy will be done; on earth as it is in heaven."

The Acts bookends of the Kingdom:

• 1:3, [And Jesus], talked to them about the Kingdom of God.
• 28:31, [Paul continued], boldly proclaiming the Kingdom of God.

What we need to know about Vision:

1. Our Vision Comes from the Vision Giver

v8, "BUT YOU will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes upon you."

Look at what God has done...

2. Our Vision must be Strategic and Measured

v8, "...you will be my witnesses, telling people about me everywhere - in Jerusalem, throughout Judea, in Samaria, and to the ends of the earth."

Vision is not only seeing where you are headed but knowing how to get there.

3. Our Vision must be Directional

v8, "...telling people about me everywhere - in Jerusalem, throughout Judea, in Samaria, and to the ends of the earth."
