Legacy Families

Make Time

Deuteronomy 6:4-9

“from generation to generation we will proclaim your praise.”

                                                                                    Psalms 79:13

How can we make time?

…bringing intentionality into the normal rhythm of your family life with the purpose of thinking and talking about the things of God.

Three essentials to making time…

1) Consistency

v7, “Repeat them again and again…”

“The greatest performers are not consistently great, but they are great at being consistent.” - Unknown

2) Conversation

v7, “Repeat them again and again to your children. Talk about them when you are at home and when you are on the road, when you are going to bed and when you are getting up.”

Conversation Starters:

3) Creativity

v8, “Tie them to your hands and wear them on your forehead as reminders.”

Final Thought:

As you go, with intention make the most of your time

to shape the legacy of your family.
