For God has not given us a spirit of fear and timidity, but of power, love, and self-discipline. ~ 2 Timothy 1:7
The New Work Fellowship Leadership team of the elders and pastors has concluded that to minimize risk and maximize safety, the wise and loving thing for us to do is suspend all on-campus gatherings until June 7th. While re-gathering is important to us, please know that we are following all CDC guidelines and considering all recommendations from our state and local governments. Check out the "Re-Gathering Safety Measures" page for more information.
Our goal and priority for the next little bit are to stay connected with you and you with each other through our online presence. This page will be your primary resource for up-to-date information and ways for you to connect personally and as a family.
The New Work Fellowship App is your number one resource to stay connected during these next few weeks (all the time for that matter). Once you download the app, you will have access to live-streaming, sermon notes, past sermons, mobile small groups, and the weekly happenings at New Work, as well as all up-to-date information regarding COVID-19 and New Work.
While our services are suspended, each Sunday we will be live-streaming our 8:00 a.m. service, and then rebroadcasting it at 9:30 a.m. and 11:00 a.m. Consider gathering your family at normal worship times to worship and study together as if you were here. Don't allow the on-site restrictions to impact the discipleship of you and your family.
One of the quickest and easiest ways to give at New Work Fellowship is through online giving. And since we aren't able to meet on-site, online giving becomes essential during this time. If you haven't done so already, set up an account through PushPay on our website or New Work Fellowship App.
Small groups are considered to be the "lifeblood" of the New Work Fellowship church community... it's where we do life together! Many of the weekly on-site small groups will be meeting by Zoom Video Meetings in this intermediate time. The information on how to be a part of and access these small groups is available through the small group portion of this page. In addition to these groups, our mobile small groups are a great way to stay consistently connected during the week. A list of and access to our mobile small groups are available through our New Work Fellowship App.
Because we can't worship on campus, we have a Zoom meeting for all students to join to take part in Wednesday Night Worship time @ 5:30pm every Wednesday. Just click the button below to jump in!
Remember, our world will change. But our God does not. God is especially good at bringing beauty from the ashes of life. Be on the lookout and watch for how God will show up in this season. Times like this make people especially receptive to the Gospel. The way we as believers and a church point others to Jesus makes this an incredible opportunity.
We will remain vigilant in the coming days and will continually inform you of updates and changes within New Work Fellowship. In the meantime, pray for the church and it's leaders, our community, our nation, and the world. Pray for those who have been infected with the Coronavirus, for the most vulnerable. Pray for the first responders and healthcare workers, and pray for our leaders.
